RIAWorld Web Conference Munich
It’s been two amazing but also time consuming and exhausting weeks. It all kicked off on Wednesday, Nov 10 where I gave a talk at the RIA World web conference Munich. I was really looking forward to this, since it was my first appearance as a public speaker. But before my talk there were really interesting presentations by Michael Mahemoff from Google UK on HTML5 Everywhere, Patrik de Jong from Artificialduck Studio on Workflow and Creation and Philipp Sackl from Envis Precisely on Interactions with RIAs.

My talk was going pretty well, although it was the final talk of conference Day1 and a lot of people had already left. But those who stayed seemed to be really interested in the topic branding and marketing a webapp, where I tried to sum up our lessons learnt and also provided a couple of very interesting best practices.
Thanks to Florian Bender for the invitation, Ilona Koglin for the referrer and of course to everybody who participated, I hope that I delivered some valuable insights for you guys.

Good stuff! It doesn’t seem like rocket science, but on the operational day to day level, it’s a lot of detailed work. No matter how great apps the propel heads put together… It is a human business.
You’re right Paula, skip rocket science and bring on the human revelations. It sounds super simple and self explaining but there is a lot more to it than expected and as you mentioned it’s long way down to rock’n'roll – hard and intense work.
